about me

tracy burke Tracy Burke RCST RGN

I have been trained in craniosacral biodymanics at the Karuna Institute by Franklyn Sills, this training is like no other course I have ever been on, it is extremely well thought out and students come from all over the world to train there. Before this training I qualified as a registered general nurse some 25 years ago (1991) and worked full time in the NHS and then New Zealand. I have extensive experience of conventional treatment and understanding of the body and medical conditions. Having worked in theatre, recovery, and wards ranging from: orthopaedics, trauma unit, acute medicine, acute surgical admissions, gynaecology, vascular and colorectal, stroke unit, elderly care and A&E. I continue to practice as a registered nurse, working within a variety of settings throughout the South West.

My work as a craniosacral therapist is informed and enhanced by my experience in conventional medicine.
On return from New Zealand in 1999 I undertook further training and am qualified in Massage therapy, reflexology, Indian head massage, colour therapy, and I have been practicing as an holistic therapist since 2005. I have also had many years of lessons in the Alexander Technique.

I am a registered member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association
